Building a native code app to power your marketplace will cost $15,000-50,000 and take 3-6 months. Monthly subscriptions to app-builders like AppMySite cost $49/month, or $588/year for eternity.

Website Updates Appear in App Instantly
Utillz WebView App is a $79 add-on service that transforms your Brikk or Heilz powered WordPress marketplace into a real native Android & iOS app. Developed and provided by the Utillz team (the makers of Brikk and Heilz).
Essentially it wraps your WordPress website inside of a native mobile app. Your website loads INSIDE of the app just as it would on a mobile browser, but this wrapper actually installs on the user’s phone as its own app on their home screen and shows up under your own developer account on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
This means every change you make on your WordPress site is automatically synced to your app. So when you publish new listings, update prices, or add new products — they show up instantly on your app. You never need to re-submit to the app stores for content changes.
Historically, getting your marketplace onto the app stores has involved two costly choices: Either spend $15,000–$50,000 on native app development, or $49–$399 per month to a subscription app-builder service – indefinitely.
The Utillz WebView App is neither. It’s a one-time $79 service that launches your marketplace on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in 24 hours with zero monthly fees.

An Apple Developer Account ($99/year) and Google Play Developer Account ($25 one-time fee) is required to publish to any app store. These costs are incurred regardless of which solution you choose. Accounts are paid for directly through Apple and Google. They are not charged by Utillz.
Step | What Happens | Your Time Needed |
|---|---|---|
Step 1 > Purchase & provide details | Purchase the WebView App add-on ($79). You will receive a setup form asking for: your website URL, your app name, app icon (we can create this from your logo), splash screen colour, and your Apple and Google developer account credentials. | 15–30 minutes |
Step 2 > Utillz builds your app | The Utillz development team configures your WebView app, tests it across iOS and Android devices, sets up push notification support, and prepares all app store submission files — screenshots, descriptions, metadata, and app binary. | Zero - Utillz handles this |
Step 3 > App store submission & approval | Utillz submits your app to the Google Play Store (typically approved within 24 hours) and the Apple App Store (typically approved within 1–3 business days). Once live, your app is available for download under your developer account name. You own the listing permanently. | Review approval emails |
Design/Configuration changes (updating your logo/app icon/splash screen/navigation menus): Requires a small app update which will need to be re-submitted to the app stores. Utillz can do re-submissions for you as a separate service request.
Platform changes (iOS/Android OS Updates): Utillz will watch for compatibility issues with new versions of operating systems and make updates as necessary as part of the continuing support.
A real app file that gets installed on your users' phones - APK/AAB for Android, IPA for iOS. An actual listing on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Not a progressive web app (PWA). Not a web shortcut. An REAL app your users download and find on their phone's home screen.
The app seamlessly updates from your live WordPress site. When you change content on your website - add a new Brikk listing, upload a new Heilz product, adjust pricing or edit a page - it's instantly reflected in your app the next time someone opens it. No rebuild. No re-submit. No developer notifications.
Promote directly to users who have installed your app using push notifications. Whether it's new listings, flash sales, booking reminders, reservation confirmations or any other event you can think of - reach your users with push notifications enabled from setup and managed from your WordPress dashboard.
Your app is yours. It's listed under your developer account with your app name, your app icon and your branding. No Utillz watermark or attribution anywhere. The app store listing is yours too — including reviews and downloads you earn.
The app opens with your splash screen - your logo, your colours, and welcome text. It's created automatically from your brand assets during setup. To change after launch you'll need to do a small app update (available as a service request).

The map-based listing search built into Brikk works INSIDE your app. Users can search by location, interact with pins on the map, apply filters - every feature your visitors use on the desktop site works perfectly on mobile devices.
The WebView App is developed and tested exclusively for use with Brikk and Heilz themes. All features of your theme - booking calendars, listing pages, vendor dashboards, downloads, search forms, you name it — work perfectly in the app before we hand it over to you.
You should use the Utillz WebView App if:
You already have a live Brikk or Heilz marketplace and want to provide your users with an app experience without having to rebuild your marketplace from scratch. Your website already does everything you need — the app just puts it in an app wrapper.
Mobile is where most of your marketplace traffic comes from. Book rentals, browse digital products, look up service providers — these activities are mostly done on mobile devices. And users are much more likely to return to your website if they have an app icon on their phone’s home screen than if they have to remember to use a bookmark in their browser.
You want your marketplace to be available in app stores. It’s tough to prove to casual browsers that your marketplace is legitimate unless you have an app listed in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This is important if you’re a new marketplace working to establish trust with users and vendors.
You want access to push notifications. The average email open rate is about 20%. Average push notification open rates are between 40–60%. The only way to send push notifications that appear on a user’s lock screen is through an app.
You don’t have the budget for a $49–$399/month subscription app-builder. At $79 USD, the Utillz WebView App is currently the lowest-cost solution to having a real app in the app stores for WordPress-powered marketplaces.
You’ll need two developer accounts to publish to both app stores. These accounts are paid directly to Apple and Google — not Utillz:
Apple Developer Account costs $99 per year, paid to Apple. All apps published on the Apple App Store require an Apple Developer account. Sign up at developer.apple.com. Note that Apple can take 1–2 business days to approve new accounts.
Google Play Developer Account costs $25 once, paid to Google. All apps published on the Google Play Store require a Google Play Developer account. Sign up at play.google.com/console. Account approval is usually processed in less than 48 hours.
You will also need a live Brikk or Heilz website (you can’t configure your app before your site is built) and a logo/icon file to use as your app icon. PNG format preferred at 1024×1024 pixels.
Don’t have developer accounts? No problem. Simply buy your WebView App now and register your developer accounts while Utillz builds your app. Both developer accounts can typically be approved within our 24-hour build window.Yes, it’s a real mobile app. Under the hood the app is coded just like every other mobile app. We compile your app into an APK/AAB file and submit it to the Google Play Store. We also compile an IPA file that we submit to the Apple App Store. These are the same files that every other Android/iOS app is made from. Users can download it from the app store like any other app. Once installed on their device, it will appear on their home screen identically to any other app they’ve downloaded. It is not a PWA, nor is it simply a bookmark to your website.
Yes! The WebView App is built to work with both Brikk AND Heilz. Brikk’s booking calendar, map-based search, and listing detail flows all work flawlessly inside of the app. Heilz’s product pages, download flows, and WooCommerce checkout are compatible with and fully functional inside of the app. Both themes are tested as part of the development process to ensure everything works as expected within the WebView container.
Yes. The Utillz WebView App is configured to support push notifications as part of the setup process. You can login to your WordPress dashboard and send push notifications to all installed users at any time. You can notify users of new listings, send booking confirmations, announce flash sales, or promote any custom message. Push notification open rates generally range from 40-60%, higher than most email newsletters.
